The goal of this blog is to make connections between literature, art and the natural world, and to encourage others to make connections of their own. As well, I would like to share some of my own work as artist and filmmaker.
Doug Pope studied and taught art history at NSCAD and Concordia University, and presently divides his time between writing, painting, tennis and gardening. He has a keen interest in biology and recently curated the art and science exhibition, Soil Body, for the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History and the Ross Farm Museum. His wife Kathleen Rosborough collaborates with him on film projects.
